in interesting ways in your teaching?
Share
your ideas with other higher education colleagues by contributing to The
Plugged-in Professor,
a book designed as a comprehensive
resource for
using
social media and other new technologies to help students meet
discipline-specific and general education learning objectives.
The book will be published
by Chandos
Publishing[1],
Oxford, U.K. and is expected to be
released spring 2013. |
We are
seeking
teaching techniques which use one or more of the following to
support the teaching of discipline-specific and/or general education
subjects.
Strategies which use other new media or technologies not listed will
also be
considered. Technologies of particular interest (listed in order)
include:

If you
submit, you’ll be expected to:
- Fill-in
an easy-to-use
template with a 2500 word limit to submit your teaching

- Sample chapters:
- Submit
work that is
original and has not been previously published, nor scheduled
for
publication. (Authors will, however, retain copyright ownership of
their
submissions.)
- Obtain
written
permission for any copyrighted material (e.g. illustrations)
- Accept
editorial
review and adhere to submission and revision deadlines
